If you want true peace, you have to go to the source!

Christ, the one who gives true peace, says:
Come to me all you who are tired and overburdened and I will give you rest. I will ease, relieve and refresh your souls. Let me teach you, because I am gentle and humble in heart. Learn from me, and you will find rest – peace and blessed quiet – for your souls.
Here on earth, you will have many trials, troubles and sorrows. You will have suffering in this world, but be brave because I have overcome the world. Take courage – be confident and undaunted because I have conquered the world for you – I have taken away its power to harm you.
I tell you these things so that in me you may have peace of heart and mind. Through me, by being united with me, you may have perfect peace and confidence.
Based on Matthew 11:28-29, John 16:33

Christ, the one who gives lasting peace, says:
I am now leaving you with a gift. Peace I leave with you; my own peace I now give to you. And the kind of peace I give is a gift the world cannot give you. It isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives.
So, don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Stop allowing yourself to be agitated and disturbed. And don’t permit yourself to be fearful, intimidated and unsettled.
Instead, let my peace rule in your heart. Let the peace that comes from me be always present in your life – directing your thoughts and guiding you in all that you do. Remember what I have taught you, and let my words enrich your life.
Based on John 14:27, Colossians 3:15-16
ACCEPTING GOD'S PEACE

Christ wants to fill your life with his everlasting peace...
So, make every effort to do what leads to peace. Keep on pursuing those things that bring peace. Following his Holy Spirit – letting his Spirit direct your thoughts and actions – will lead you to life and to peace.
Based on 1 Corinthians 7:15, Romans 14:19, 8:6
God will not force his gift of peace upon you.
If you want to enjoy his peace, you need to ask for it!
Giving is a two-way street. To enjoy the benefit of a gift, you must first accept that gift from the giver. God has done his part in sending Jesus to make a way for you to access his peace. Jesus has also done his part by laying down his life in order to destroy the barrier between you and God. Now, it's up to you to do your part - accept God's gift!
God will not force his gift of peace upon you. If you want to live your best life and enjoy God's peace, then open up your heart to him! Ask Jesus Christ to come into your life, and allow God's peace to come pouring in! This is Christ's invitation to you. Will you to accept it?
